Hands down best breakfast in town. Gigantic plates of greasy, booze soaking yummyness for a great price. Absolutely hands down worst service in town, every time we've been here, by almost all of the staff (there is one nice bartender). Today took the cake, which prompts my review. We arrived in the afternoon to a very quiet bar except the pool junkies and 2-3 other tables. Our server took our orders, skipped one of us and started to walk away. ??? Guess she didn't think he wanted to eat? 40 minutes later our heavenly meal arrived, worth the wait. Our drinks did not arrive until 5 minutes after the meal did, after I asked about them. She (or the kitchen) also forgot a side order but got it quickly after we mentioned it. We had to ask for our checks after waiting 10 minutes after we were finished. We also had to ask for her to come pick up our checks after waiting almost another 10 minutes while she and another server were chatting with a league player. She was annoyed and acted as though we were a hassle despite only having 2 other tables. Not service I will pay for again. I left fat and full and my checkbook thanked me. I also left deciding I probably won't be back.

Solid spot for some happy hour grub. I had the pita-pizza and it was pretty tasty, I have to say, for under $5. The service wasn't great, as the bar-tender was the only server in the place. I didn't have a problem with that, except he seemed a little smug/rude to my lady. There were a mix of folks playing pool on some nice looking tables, so it seems like a good spot for that, and/or catching a game and getting some cheap grub on a Sat. afternoon.

This oc staple is a great family friendly spot for a delicious meal. Extensive food menu has something for everyone. Rotating taps for the beer lover in all of us. Depending on the night they may be quite busy and a bit understaffed, the servers are understandably a bit cranky, best to order at the bar.

Okay, maybe it's because it's a short walk from my place but I'm very fond of the Midway. Under the new-ish ownership the food has gotten quite good and the atmosphere more family friendly. The Gyro is amazing! The drinks are stiff. (A requirement for me.) The waitstaff is always super friendly and they always remember us when we come in. They allow minors in the restaurant area until 9 PM, which my 12 year old son thinks is great. It's a perfect when your in the mood for a low key place to go for a good beer and a good burger.

Had great burgers and a chocolate stout to die for (wish I could remember the name). We are from Gresham but will make the trip for more. I had the OMG burger and it was really WTF delicious as described! Reading all the breakfast reviews tells me we need to pop in for that. Pool tables are great and the place was very clean and updated.

Not sure what happened to this place within the last year. We used eat here often for the past 4 years and now the food has gotten lousy. All the food was luke warm and the pancakes were really dense and leathery. My guess is that the cook over mixed the batter and stopped the rising agent from aerating properly. The server however was really nice and welcoming.

Being from Reno I'm not used to heading home from the bar before midnight so the 230 closing time definitely worked out for me. A full rail when I walked in gave me the opportunity to make a new friend or two during my very short visit to this area. Several beers on tap to choose from and if you're an IPA fanatic (which I am not) you'll be in heaven with all the choices available. The place is very spacious and inviting. They also serve food until close (or close to) which is awesome. I only sampled some maple-bacon ice cream with which I was very pleased. Though my visits to Oregon will be few and far between this establishment will be on my list of stops to make every time.

Always have the best time here. Free pool and good drinks!

Cool place to hang out. There was a lot of people playing cards. A lot of pool table and it's clean inside. I think their drinks are a little overpriced though, other than that, place is enjoyable.

I will admit I'm a little biased... my wife is one of the bartenders/servers there. I love the corned beef hash, the burger basket and the steaks are pretty good. All they need is fried chicken!

Probably the best bar in Oregon City. Fun, friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent and interesting food options and some of the best rates on well maintained pool tables around. This is a great place to hang out on the weekends, or bring your family out for breakfast. The menu is mostly house made and they house smoke their own high quality pork, beef and turkey. Lots of open space and ample booth or table seating makes this place ideal for parties or informal get togethers. They also host pool league a couple of nights a week. A really low douche-bag quotient sets this place apart from most of the other bars in Oregon City.

Great breakfast! I had the chicken fried steak and it was good. Not great but good. The hasbrowns were nice and crispy on the outside but like paste on the inside. Eggs were cooked perfectly as to the way they were ordered. Next time I will try an omolete as the ones around the table looked fantastic.

First time going to Midway...IT WAS AWESOME! Great pool tables! SUNDAYS ARE FREE!!! There are 2 rooms full of pool tables...REALLY NICE tables, too! We weren't able to try the food, as we had just eaten...HOWEVER, Happy Hour starts at 6PM on Sunday. The beers are decent...I just wonder why they don't care many local beers??? The prices are good and the wait-staff was REALLY nice and friendly - she kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and if we didn't she was "Johnny on the Spot!" I would TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I think my hubby and I have a found a new "date-night" place! I think the only suggestion that I would make is to invest in a GIANT BIG SCREEN...It's football season, then it's basketball season, then it's baseball season...

Service - 1 star. Server at the bar was rude and had an attitude. NO common courtesy. Food - average. 3 stars.

Food is pretty damn good and prices are fair. If you can get Ciara as a server, do it! She is absolutely amazing! We were there for tri cups and she never missed a beat, super attentive and extremely friendly. Even if the food sucked, which it doesnt, I would still come back just for the service.

Came in on a Sunday morning for my husbands birthday, waitress took our order for drinks and never came back. A couple of waitresses were standing around talking. Bar tender hadn't received our drink order and the place was dead. Very rude service!

  • Eric P.

The food here is excellent. Burgers are out of this world. The turkey melt is excellent also. I haven't had anything else yet but I am sure it all is. Have to come here and try breakfast next. Make sure you stop here if you are in oregon city.

I can see a definite difference in service since my last review. I have come back twice and decided to update today. The waitstaff is courteous and attentive. They are very busy as league pool is going on and they are handling it well. The bloody mary's are delightful, food is great as always. I am really happy that I didn't write this place off. It is back in the weekend breakfast circuit. Until next time, Josh. :)

Very spacious place to hold the APA tricups. Staff is very helpful and genuine. Angela was amazing, down to earth and as quick as she could be with so many people in the building. They also have a great beer selection. The Tri-Tip dip was amazing as well as the Bacon Cheese Burger. Fair prices and also TVs just about everywhere. Myself and my team enjoyed our two weeks here. * Thank you staff from The Drunken Monkeys a.k.a Team Awesome!

We LOVE this place! We shoot pool just for fun about twice a week. When we show up and Jessica is working, she is what makes our experience amazing. We don't have to get the balls, she knows what we want. She has an amazing attitude regardless of the situation. Will always go back to this amazing bar.

Great place to play pool, but if you're from Oregon City you probably know this already. Their menu isn't too shabby. Normal bar food and it's decent but nothing to write home about. I like this place because it's usually not stock full of the just-turned-21 party crowd, but maybe I'm just getting old and don't stay out late enough. The bartenders have always been super nice but it's always been a man and it's been my experience male bartenders are always friendlier with the female kind. Ultimately it's probably the bar I'd choose over any others in OC. Good atmosphere, friendly service, decent prices drinks and good food! What more could you ask for?

Love it, good comfort food and the staff is great, not fond of the fries though but everything else is good :)

Yep, still a solid place. And as an added bonus they have added/borrow some items that are easy on the eyes. .....if you know what I mean.

Awesome bar! Been here many times Lots of pool tables, great bar food, beer selection is good. Bartenders are very nice Jukebox is wonderful good selection most the time. I would recommend this place over most bars in oregon city :) Prices can be a bit high But it's a good spot to hang out at

The food here was not very good. It seems like a fun bar but I'm reviewing the food that I ordered which was the nachos. I beleive they said they homemade the beans but they were flavorless and the food was just all out bland. My bf got chicken fried steak and it was bland too.

Seriously, I have lived in Oregon City for over 25 years and never gone to this place until yesterday. I have sure been missing out. By far the best breakfast in our little city. The prices were fair and the portions were plentiful. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the club and it was stacked high with high quality toppings. My partner had the chicken fried steak and it was equally as tasty. Their gravy is homemade and doesn't taste like lard like many other gravy options do. The hash browns were cooked to perfection, as were the eggs. My favorite part was their yummy shoe string fries. The service was fabulous too. The only room for improvement would be to switch to coke or Pepsi instead of the RC, it was on the flat side, as it is everywhere you go. I have always thought of that place as sketchy, as the location is not prime. However, once you arrive inside it is super large and super clean. It is my number 1 breakfast spot in Oregon City, #2 being Witchita, #3 being Kissin' Kates and #4 being Ranee's on Main. After that, there are not many that are worthy of repeat. LOL. Now Portland has lots of options, but we were in the real "OC" have always lacked a lot of variety. Give this place a shot, let me know what I should try next time.

Great place for breakfast! Reasonably priced with good size portions. And it was very tasty! Had the corn beef hash, it wasn't what I was expecting but it was delicious! Large chunks of tender corn beef and potatoes with yummy bits of garlic. Only could eat 1/2, so I get to enjoy it again tomorrow. Service was friendly and attentive. Can't believe we've lived here 5 years and have never been here.

Best place to come for pool tournaments. Diamond tables are outstanding

After several attempts off their dinner menu (you really work up an appetite over free pool), we gave up on that side. One day, came in and tried breakfast. THAT is where you should order. Pretty damn good gravy. Hashbrowns were nice and crispy. There's one really nice bartender that I'm happy to see since he's always nice and helpful. He'll be the one with the jackalope tattoo on his arm. One guy is still a douche and won't really pay any attention to you. Still the place to go for free pool and hello, maple bacon sundaes!

Just went for breakfast for the first time and it was excellent. We had the steak fajita omelet and the steak was tender and perfect. Our bartender Chris made us a great bloody mary to go with it and our service couldn't be better. We will definitely be back. The only complaint I could come up with is I wish they opened earlier.

On Sundays, KC's Midway opens at 9:00AM. The same very experienced bartender typically has menus sitting out at the tables to let you peruse your food choice before he comes and takes your drink order. He's not exactly chipper; but, you don't really want that after waking up from an alcohol-soaked bender with friends. There are a bunch of TVs showing various sporting evens with the volume at a mellow tone. There is an internet Jukebox if you still have Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" stuck in your head from whatever dive you ended up at last night (going for the Soused badge, are ye?). More than a dozen pool tables will keep you at distance from the billiards junkie who can't seem to perfect his Massé. Killer drinks, and a diverse beer selection. I've tried the bloody Mary, screwdriver, Spanish coffee, to name a few, and they're spot on. The guy will leave you alone to enjoy your seriously coronary-inducing portion of whatever your heart desires on the food menu. Lunch food is served too, so if you want a Jalapeno popper burger, have fun, it's spectacular.... Never been here at night, may have to check it out sometime.

Good lordy! I can't believe I walk by this place all the time and hadn't stopped in for my favorite meal...breakfast! Coming here early on a Sunday morning I found I had the place all to myself. I had the special omelette and boy was it special! Tons of fresh ingredients, hot and perfectly seasoned. What could be better? How about a gigantic cup of piping hot coffee???

Love the food. Dislike the service. Waited for 45 minutes before waitress realize she misplaced our order.

Sunday morning's in Oregon City seem to be either Churches or Taverns. Wanting some breakfast before hiking Silver Falls this was the only place we could find open that had food (that's right - food, not church), so we took a chance. We got a clean table against the windows and placed our order. It took a bit too long to get our meal but when it came it was one of those wonderful stick-to-your-ribs breakfasts that's so satisfying you want to relax after with a cup of coffee for a few minutes and savor the moment. Well worth a visit and as far as we could tell free of any competition - other than churches - on Sunday mornings.

Food took forever to get, but well worth it. Remember, this is a bar, not a restaurant. Cheap and very large place with a lot of pool tables. Sit by the windows on a sunny day and pull up a "Loaded Bloody Mary".

O.K. this is the best breakfast Oregon City has to offer. The bloody marys are great as well.Go you won't be sorry
